Kadin McElwain

Kadin McElwain is an autistic college student, writer, and activist on a mission to raise as much awareness about autism as possible. During his life, his capabilities were questioned due to who he was. But thanks to a supportive set of parents, he proved the naysayers wrong.

Sensory Gated Art

Discover the new genre of Sensory Gated Art, developed by its autistic founder, Amanda Hebert Hughes - American Artist.

Leveraging color, line, texture, and psychology, she delivers a calming and accessible new genre to the world of art and design.  From her famous painting remakes to her Latin collection, Amanda’s style is immediately recognizable. Amanda Hebert Hughes believes that color is information and her passionate approach to color mixing is nothing short of a “mad scientist”, a label she wears proudly.  Her attention to detail in all her line work painted by hand is nothing short of deeply satisfying for viewers.

Her work has been featured in The Edge, a global publication by Cushman and Wakefield as a premier new approach to neuro-friendly design that benefits everyone. Follow her work, collect original art directly from the artist herself, and join the movement.

RockstarX

At RockstarX we believe people should think outside the box and also help them find their dream job within the gaming, entertainment, music, film, and technology industries and show the world how and why these individuals are exactly what society is turning their backs on because one size does not fit all in the world and the workplace for without these people, we wouldn’t have the technology we have today.

We want people to be given equal opportunity to achieve their best version of themselves and chase their dreams and ambitions. But also, be paid the legal minimum wage and not discriminated against in any way, shape, or form. We focus on supporting NDs on their journey to realizing and achieving their dreams in a society that has given little to no focus on helping them. Everyone has experienced feeling out of place, not wanted, or pushed away, most can shrug it off and move on, and that is the expectation. Autistic people do not have that luxury. Society chases them and living with the fear to conform is inescapable.

Our CEO and Founder Joel Felsenstein was diagnosed with autism when he was nine and has felt the pressure to obey a level of ‘normality’ ever since. So many others like himself are square pegs forced into round holes and this has to stop.

Read Cursive Fast

  I'm Kate Gladstone: a dyslexic,

dyspraxic, dysgraphic, ADHD,

autistic..and I teach and remediate

 handwriting worldwide

through my businesses —

http://readcursivefast.com and

     http://handwritingrepair.info

I’ve been doing this since 1987,

when I was 24 years old and in

graduate school. Till then, I’d never

 been able to write decipherably,

 except sometimes by slowing

down to a rate of 2 or 3 words

 a minute — despite literally

decades of school essons, extra

 lessons,and other ever-more

 despairing and frustrating

interventions on the subject

 of handwriting. Further, I could

not even begin to read the

handwriting f others, no matter

 how well it was written,

if any  letters were joined. Today,

 my handwriting instruction

 and remediation business

has its roots in the strategies

 that I eventually developed

at age 24 to solve these

situations for myself and for

 another family member with

 similar (though lesser) issues.

I teach people of all ages and

walks of life, with and without

disabilities,to write in

 a legible, rapid, and accident-

resistant way — and to read,

 quickly and easily, the handwriting

of others. My goal is to ensure

that everyone can read even quite

complicated handwriting —  and

that we all, especially we who

 have the “dys-“abilities, can write

 more sensibly by hand ourselves.

The “cursive reading”  side of my

business has become one of the

 interventions I’m most often asked

to provide, ever since the 2021

publication of my book

READ CURSIVE FAST (from

 National Autism Resources) —

 https://nationalautismresources.com/

read-cursive-fast/

or through my book’s own web-site at

 http://ReadCursiveFast.com

(I’ve also a more general site on

 handwriting techniques and resources,

at http://HandwritingThatWorks.com)

The best ways to reach me quickly

for a first contact are via Twitter

 DM (KateGladstone or @fast_read)

and on Facebook or  Facebook Messenger

       My best-mail address is

Kate@ReadCursiveFast.com

— however, owing to the volume

of e-mail, it’s usually best to contact me

 first through Twitter or Facebook.
